Originally launched on August 3, 2023, Akadi Lumina is the 18th Lumina installation worldwide and the first in Atlantic Canada. Created by Montreal’s award-winning Moment Factory in collaboration with local Acadian artists and Le Pays de la Sagouine, the project marks a bold new chapter in cultural tourism for the region.
This immersive night walk also represents the beginning of a multi-phase, government-supported initiative aimed at expanding Le Pays de la Sagouine into a year-round destination for locals and visitors alike.
