MK Thai Gourmet Opens Doors in Downtown Moncton

Moncton’s Downtown Main Street is now home to a vibrant and delightful Thai eatery – MK Thai Gourmet, where mouthwatering flavors come alive!
Previously known as the Starbucks location, this new place has been filling with energy since its great opening on May 15. Manager Aphinya Dhiratanon says everyone is happy with how things are going.
MK Thai Gourmet is a Thai restaurant serving authentic Thai food. Mai Saikosin and Kate Phaunpa, the passionate owners, launched on a journey from Ontario, seeking a fresh start and a business opportunity. In order to have a slower atmosphere than downtown Toronto, they sold their previous business in Ontario and opened MK Thai Gourmet in Moncton, New Brunswick. Basically, they just wanted to move here, relax, and start a business.
Stir-fries, noodles, curries, and other Thai foods are currently available at MK Thai Gourmet. Dhiratanon said they strive to serve authentic Thai meals.
“We are authentic Thai, unlike an Asian fusion,” says Dhiratanon.
Situated in the heart of Downtown Moncton, New Brunswick, MK Thai Gourmet is a sit-down restaurant that also offers takeout services. The restaurant is cleverly divided into two sections for people looking for a fine dining experience or something quick to eat.
For added convenience, MK Thai Gourmet can now be found on popular food delivery platforms such as Doordash and Skip the Dishes. This means that the tempting flavors of their kitchen are just a few clicks away, extending their reach to even more members of the community.
