The Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) is Canada’s largest annual youth science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) event — and in 2025, it’s coming to Fredericton, New Brunswick! Hosted at the Currie Center on the University of New Brunswick campus, this exciting two-day event brings together the brightest young scientists, engineers, and innovators from across the country.
Each year, thousands of students in grades 7–12 participate in regional science fairs. Only the top projects are selected to advance to the national level — the CWSF — where these students present groundbreaking ideas, inventions, and research in areas such as:
- Climate change and environmental conservation
- Artificial intelligence and robotics
- Medical research and biotechnology
- Renewable energy and sustainability
- Agriculture, food science, and more
